Trek Jageshwar (Short)

Trek Jageshwar (Mini)
(Altitude: 5000-7500 ft)

2N 3D

After the rains, the mountains slowly start cooling down. The sky turns deep blue and the snow peaks begin to shine.  This is when we venture out for a super-easy, short and cool trek through the mountains and quaint villages of Kumaon.  The valley of Jageshwar, lined with the 6th century temples along a mountain river awaits us.  Let’s soak it in!.

The Trek takes us from Camp 1 Dholchhina to Jwalabanj village (7000ft) (5 kms). The route takes us by the side of the village and through the forest. Camp 2 itself is a perched atop a hill bathed in tranquility and offering a view of the valley below and the Himalayan ranges above. The last leg of the trek is about 5kms down to Jageshwar (6000ft) famous for its more than hundred 8th century miniature temples. We walk through a quaint village to reach a mountain stream where we rest and spalsh up some water before making it to the final destination.
