Rafting the Rapids
1 Day / 2 Nights (Ex-Delhi)

Rafting for Everyone - Route Purple brings you a brand new experience this season.  White Water Rafting is the next splash we make… this time in the mighty Ganga.  Get drenched to the bone, wash all your sins as you surf through the crystal-clear waters gushing through the mountains.

Enjoy your stay at our camp just off the river… with a swimming pool at your disposal.  Walk through the forest, try your hands at rock climbing and rappelling, dig at sumptuous food and leave all your worries behind for the weekend.

Stay will be in a resort with modern comforts.

*Short trek to a waterfall.
* Rock climbing and Rappelling.
* Rafting in the mighty Ganga.    
*Swimming (in a pool at the campsite) and chillout at Campfire… get drenched in fun!


Day 0: Leave Delhi at 9:30pm.

Day 1: Reach campsite early morning.   
Intro, rest, check-in to your tents.
Swimming in the pool.  Rock climbing and rappelling in evening.
Campfire and evening snacks, followed by dinner.

Day 2: Check out of camp after breakfast, drive to Shivpuri for rafting
Rafting on a 16 km stretch with some amazing rapids.
Cliff jumping and body surfing in the gushing waters of Ganga.
Lunch in Rishikesh.   
Head back to Delhi after lunch.

The camp site provides Swiss tents with cots on double / triple sharing.

The temperature during winter may dip anywhere between 5 - 15 degrees C depending on the month. 
Daytime is warm and pleasant. 
The camp is in a village about 30 km ahead of Rishikesh.

Recommended packing list
Cotton shirts / T-shirts, Pants / shorts, floaters (with straps), caps, sneakers / trekking shoes (for rock climbing / rappelling), woolens.
Jacket, woolen socks, woollen cap / muffler, (for winters only)
Cotton socks (for trek), towel, toilet kit, sunglasses (with UV protection)
Torch, first aid kit (bandaid, paracetamol, cold cream, sun screen etc), polythene bags (for your unclean cloths, socks etc)
ESSENTIAL ITEMS: Water bottle, Floaters, Sport / trekking shoes, Small carrybag /backpack (for your water bottles and other things during a trek / rafting)
